is it possible to get Andriod up and running on a real mobile

does anyone try to get Andriod up and running on a real cell phone, such as N81? It is said and posted that some guys successfully shiped Andriod kernel and application to the real hardware, but no sure if the seen "real hardware" came from market, or just from mock test factory?

I checked it in groups.google, but no positive msg found and wonder if it was too early to talk about the real use of Andriod. There are a lot of people working on the development and testing of Andriod on real cell phone, but seems the results are far away from their exepectation, and many issues happened.

snoppy83 is right. It is too early to do so. According to foreign forum, most functions are not supported, such as making a phone call.
